Anzac day

Public holiday - we love that

sunny 27 °C

So we woke up at 6 o'clock to get to North Parade in Adelaide city to join the Anzac day ceremony. I dunno what the hack is going on but im bloody tired and cold and really not keen on going. but when we do get there a bit after 7... There are a massive crowd of true Australians, old, young, kids and even babies! and an orchestra, Australian flags and flower settings all over and handsome soldiers in their proper uniforms. What is this then? why is everyone here? Its another public holiday so people should be sleeping right. But here they all are standing in the cold singing the one and only "National Anthem" I know better than my own; 'Walzing Mathilda'... Or its actually Australia's most widely known folk song, but it is considered to be some sort of National Anthem. This is the day when you honour the soldiers that fought during war, so its peaceful and respectful and very Australian. This is definately something every Aussie should do, wake up early on a day off and walk to wherever they keep the ceremony and also have the massive breakfast me, Jase, Corey and his family had.
